President
Ted Quint earned a B.A. in 1966 and a B.C.L. in 1969 from McGill University. He got involved with all facets of real estate. He has been a developer, a builder and a real estate manager since 1968. To date he has constructed in excess of 4,000 residential units, including more than 1,500 houses and 500 apartment units, more than 1 million square feet of industrial space, 500,000 square feet of retail space and 250,000 square feet of office space, several hotels and a mini storage building. Ted Quint is recognized as leader in real estate development in the Montréal area, especially on the South Shore. He leads a dynamic and experienced team to manage an important real estate portfolio.
Vice-President, Real Estate Development & Operations
Paul Martin joined the Quintcap team in 2015. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate and has been a Chartered Appraiser for over 25 years. He was a senior partner in a real estate appraisal and consulting firm and then worked as Vice President for a major real estate developer in the Montreal area for several years. Paul is responsible for planning and managing development projects (Residential, Commercial and Industrial), acquisitions, overall management of Quintcap's real estate portfolio, negotiations, communications, etc.
Chief financial officer
John Waxlax joined Quintcap in 2008 after 23 years in the banking and financial services sector in the United States and Canada. Prior positions included: President – GMAC Commercial Finance Canada; President – Bank of New-York Financial Canada; President – IDB Commercial Finance Canada; President – Bank of Boston Canada. Through these positions, John has acquired extensive experience in finance, credit and portfolio management, business development, strategic planning, operations and general management. He earned a B.A. / M.A. in 1982 and an M.B.A. in 1984 from Boston University.
Director of hospitality operations - Quint Hotels
Aldo Carlucci joined Quint Hotels in 1988 as General Manager. For nearly 40 years, he has been involved in the management, acquisition, renovation, and ongoing improvement of Quint Hotels. With the help of his team, he oversees the daily operations of all Quint Hotels properties, including the Best Western and Hôtel Central in Brossard, as well as the Marriott Fairfield Inn & Suites, Hilton Doubletree, and Hyatt Place hotels at Montreal Airport in Dorval.
Construction manager
Pascal Samson has worked in the construction industry for nearly 20 years. He joined the Quintcap team in 2012 as a site superintendent. He has made his mark within the company and climbed the ranks to become Construction Director in 2020. Over the years, he has successfully completed several projects such as the Écoparc industrial district in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, the Square Châteauguay residential rental project, the construction of the Hilton DoubleTree hotel in Dorval, the renovation of the Marriott Fairfield hotel in Dorval, the construction of the Hyatt Place in Dorval in 2024-2025 and several other major projects.
Vice President, Development and Investments US-Canada
Shoshana Quint holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Urban Studies and Geography from McGill University since 1995. She also holds since 1998 a culinary diploma from the prestigious Peter Kump's New York Cooking School. She has extensive experience in the hospitality and culinary industries. Shoshana has been involved as a shareholder and director of Quintcap for over 15 years, and she is also a director of Canam Properties, a New York-based real estate investment and development company.
